Japan Rail Modelers got its start from designing and building our show layout to display at
local train show in the DC area. We have been showing our layout since October of 2004.

JRM forms with the idea of doing a japanese themed layout for the N Scale convention Dullas Expo, VA in the summer. |
Unfortunately we did not have enough time to get something together by the Convention, but
the show layout idea is launched. |

JRM assembles our first set of 2'x4' platform modules and begins laying out our track plan. |
The track plan and wiring are completed for the Timonium show. Scenery is left to perceived level with only colored construction paper below the track and buildings. |
